Mercado Viejo is a world unto itself with stalls selling everything you can imagine, right downtown San Cristóbal de Las Casas in Chiapas Mexico. As the first part of Fortuna Bodega we are introducing you to some of the ingredients available in kitchens across Chiapas and ideas of ways to cook with them in your own home.

This gift set includes a hand woven tote bag* filled with ingredients sourced from vendors at Mercado Viejo including; two types of chiles, hoja santa, zatz salts, roasted & ground pepita, pink beans, dulce de leche and we have included Fortuna dark chocolate for drinking, herbal tisana blend, and some snacking chocolate!
